Tween Camp Schedule

Day 1 • Getting to Know You

Day 1 at Tween Relief Camp is all about building trust, connection, and fun. After arriving by bus, campers begin creating community with their “Warm Fuzzy Bags,” a tradition where encouraging notes and tokens are shared throughout camp. A group art project helps break the ice and encourages creative expression before lunch. In the afternoon, the ropes course challenges campers to work together, build confidence, and support one another. After dinner, the Tangled Tones lead an energizing drumming session that brings the group together in rhythm and spirit. The evening closes with a campfire and popcorn, giving campers time to relax, share stories, and begin forming lasting friendships.

Day 2 • Telling Your Story / Feeling Your Feelings

Day 2 focuses on giving campers safe, creative, and supportive ways to share their stories and explore their emotions. After breakfast, the day begins with journaling and individual crafts, offering personal time for reflection and self-expression. Following lunch, campers take part in a guided exercise around guilt and regret, then learn healthy coping skills to carry with them beyond camp. In the evening, a meaningful Luminary and Sharing Their Story Ceremony provides space for campers to honor their loved ones and feel heard by their peers. The day closes around the campfire with s’mores, blending comfort, connection, and fun after a powerful day of healing.

Day 3 • Self Care and Gratitude

Day 3 helps campers focus on self-care, gratitude, and carrying the lessons of camp into everyday life. After breakfast, the morning begins with a supportive group activity that reinforces connection and emotional strength. Campers then join together in group crafts, creating meaningful keepsakes that reflect their journey. After lunch, families are welcomed for the Closing Ceremony, a heartfelt celebration of the campers’ growth, resilience, and the community they have built together.
